Definitely felt like I needed a shower after reading this!

To clarify, the 3 stars aren't for the disturbing content itself as there were warnings for that. For me, I felt that there could have been more done with the main character.

This is such a fun series. Fast-paced and never a dull moment from start to finish.

When I saw the words: "...aimed at young teens with attitude," I thought, ok, I'm 31 definitely not a teen, never mind one with attitude. So, this might be too immature, silly, etc, for adults.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong. This is a series for all ages. It was well written with very interesting characters. I actually like the main characters' "attitude" as it meant he wasn't your typical good, goody kid. More realistic than a lot of teenagers I've seen in other books.

A really fun, quick read. Looking forward to reading the rest.

Leon has always been my favourite Resi character, so I was looking forward to this! Really fun read, with, as expected, lots of scary creatures.

At first, I couldn't really get in to it. After watching the show, Merlin, I had a certain idea of his character in my head, so when I started reading this, I kept comparing them.

Once I got used to this interpretation of Merlin, I ended up enjoying it a lot. Interested to see what happens in the next book.

I did not particularly enjoy this. Idea of it seemed cool but I wasn't a fan of the writing. It starred off relatively promising but nothing that happened seemed to really go together. It's like he had a bunch of ideas for missions these kids to do, couldn't decide which to use and so piled them all together. The last part of the book felt pointless to me.

At first, I thought, hey, maybe I'm just too old to be enjoy this type of book (I'm 31), but Alex Rider is similar and one of my favourite series'. Just done A LOT better. The characters in this were not very likeable.

I love, love, LOVE the Resident Evil games.

I've been wanting to read these books for a long time but could never get my hands on these particular copies. Eventually, I found them on ThriftBooks, so was super happy!

The reviews are pretty mixed, so I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not but I actually enjoyed the book. It wasn't perfect but I do think Perry did it justice. Looking forward to reading the rest.

For me, it felt like the same things were repeated over and over without anything  particularly interesting happening.

I liked the idea of it but I felt pretty underwhelmed by it. The whole "explanation" of things annoyed me.
