A love letter to Jane Austen that will be pleasant for most fans to read. A good book to unwind with.

Life is short and listening felt like a chore. I kept waiting for it to grip me but it never did.

A short, amusing, and informative read. I had to call my mother, a hospice nurse, and tell her all about it as soon as I finished.

I think this was very well done and the moments I followed felt masterfully executed, saying as much in what went unspoken as what did. I would advise other readers to pick up an e-book or physical book, though. The narration was magnificent but these are not stories you can afford to be distracted from. I likely would have appreciated them twice as much if I had not drifted in my thoughts a few times and found myself terribly confused.

An entertaining little read for fans of the genre. The characters are fun, the plot is twisty enough to be engaging but not so twisty to be confusing. It was a little slow to start, but once it got to the murder it really shone. Folk who love this genre and all its tropes and conventions will have a great time.
