Read in one beach trip. Not a bad read but not anything show stopping.

A perfectly acceptable thriller. I’m very good at suspending disbelief so I chose not to see the twists coming, but in retrospect, they were find-out-able.

The plot was pretty obvious from the first chapter. There was a twist that got me in the third act but it didn’t really change the plot significantly. I think my issue with this story is that there are multiple POVs and you find out on page 2 essentially that not a one is reliable. I can handle one or two unreliable narrators but if your plot hinges on “just kidding, here’s how it rly went” 10 times, it’s a no from me. Ending felt rushed and like it was just trying to tie all the ends together. Id say it’s worth a read if you have literally nothing else to read, but otherwise, reading it is pretty…needless.
