I honestly hate myself to say that I enjoyed this book more in the entire series.
The character development? Great. The story? Overall good. The SPICINESS?! Phenomenal.
I can also appreciate how dommy mommy Nesta was towards Cassian. The need for them both to compete with each other (sexually obviously)
I'm intrigued where Elain where go from this. And you know what, I hope she doesn't end up with Azriel. It's too cliche, and I'd like to see her in her own skin with no one for a bit.
also it must be sooo nice to be revived from the dead over and over again.

I felt the story took wayy took long, and random romance scenes that felt unnecessary. I get love triangles, though to have another one with the same brothers is kinda gross? Why is it always them to?
Was it just me that it was weird the characters are suppose to be in high school, but that act like their adults? It felt off and would probably make more sense if they were in their early 20s or barely got out of high school at least.
The cliffhanger got me, so maybe I'll read book 2 but it's definitely not a "MUST READ" type of situation.

I don't understand the whole "war" that's going on since us as reader aren't on that point of view we normally do, so it was different.
Book was going pretty well, though I'm starting to realize I don't really like love triangles, or poorly love triangles.

Honestly? A HUGE MISSED OPPORUNITY
The spice scene with the rake could have been more detailed instead of a slow fade to black....
I'm actually quite mad about it lol
