Suddenly Psychic by Elizabeth Hunter

LOVED this book. Love the fact that it focuses on an often overlooked gender/age range in fiction, and although I'm a younger woman and perhaps cannot relate to everything these characters go through, I certainly appreciate diversity of ages in writing. The cover drew me in, the writing did the rest. Absolutely wonderful paranormal story...would highly recommend.

This was a story that kept my on my toes the whole time, especially near the end it gets faced paced and...wow, that ending. It was a great book, and the idea of an MC with memory erasing abilities is crazy unique. A book worth reading for sure!

Dang, this is a book that really engrossed me from beginning page to end. Not many books can do that, and this one totally deserves its genre. It's creepy as heck and even kept me up a little (which, again, kind of hard to do!)

Super cute and light read with characters I found myself drawn to. The type of book that makes me happy or is a go-to when I need some light-hearted, funny, and cute reading to cheer me up. Love this book :)

I loved the use of magic in this book - the author does a great job. The characters were engaging and their relationship felt real, and that's something I take really seriously when reading a novel. The setting is also awesome - the kind I find myself vividly imagining and am more than happy to escape to throughout the course of the book.

Overall a fun read, I just didn't LOVE Perry...and that makes it hard for me to continue. Characters are No. 1 for me when I'm reading and if I find myself not being able to connect or just not finding a character likable, it's a bit harder to get through the book. There were a lot of times in the book where Perry was just plain annoying, and that hampered my desire to want to continue. That being said, there certainly were strong parts, and though I wouldn't re-read this book, I didn't dislike the read because there were parts that were good.

Now THIS is my kind of book...adventure-filled, fun, exciting, with twists and turns, I felt the characters were developed and organic...truly a fun read, very glad I tried it. The villains are interesting, the heroes are well-written...truly enjoyable. Can't wait to read #2!!!

The cover drew me in and the writing kept me. I love trying out recently published books and this one is a great read - at times upsetting, emotional, etc. - but a great read BECAUSE of that, not despite it. This is such a great insight into an upsetting topic that I feel should be read by everyone.
