Great book, but shows its age with culturally inappropriate references to native Americans.

I loved this book as a child and was thrilled that my two girls enjoyed it so much as well. We talked about it for days and discussed what our favorite "weather" would be.

It's wonderful when your children fall in love with a book you loved as a child.

An old favorite of mine, and now a household favorite. Lots of opportunities for over-the-top drama and funny voices.
