This was quite a lot of fun - the characters were very funny and charming (and rather unusual, I especially loved Bonny) and it was delightfully dirty. Suspend your knowledge of cultural and historical mores and just go with it.

Gah, I just love them. This series is the sweetest.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.
It was just going NOWHERE - 25% in and nothing was happening and i could already see how it was going to end. Nothing to relate to in the main character, either.

This gets good reviews but sheesh I don’t know why - the entire narrative is premised on enslavement and I couldn’t. I’m only marking it read bc I skimmed it to see how bad it was after the first 50 pages or so. Gross.

Very sweet and enjoyable, if in need of another pass at copy editing.

This was fun! I had no idea what was going on for most of it, but I rather enjoyed that.

This was very cute and charming - low stakes but still sweet and fun.

This was a bit confusing at the start, you jump into the story in the middle in a lot of ways - I checked at least twice to see if I’d accidentally skipped a previous book. But it evened out pretty quickly and ultimately worked pretty well. I found the main relationship charming and the rest of the story, while nothing special, was solid enough. I’ll read the next one.

I really liked this one! I was slightly unsure going in bc it’s a direct sequel (VERY direct, unusual for the series) to Network Effect, which is probably my least favorite of the series, but this was great - propulsive, tense, but still our same delightful Murderbot at the end of the day, lamenting its inability to code a patch for its anxiety (and believe me, it tried). And I always love ART, maybe even especially ART-drone. This was great.

What an odd little book. It’s very surprising and rather satisfying, too.
