When they say “this is the raven boys meets ninth house” they are absolutely right. I love this. It was a hard read since it deals with death and moving on while grieving, but it was also atmospheric and cool. It didn’t make much sense why the girl main character didn’t like the man main character, but that’s YA and it didn’t affect my enjoyment in the end.

Another beautiful volume, but it seemed a bit slower compared to the others so it is 4,50 ⭐️ instead of 5 ⭐️

This started by reminding me of Alice in wonderland, but it is not nonsensical. It is filled with magic and hope and the power to believe in ourselves but also not giving up on others. Adults should read this

I love the characters, how the main character tried to protect herself and even being cocky because she has to believe in herself cause she feels like no one cares about her for who she is. And the fact that she always tells herself “don’t panic” and then there’s a scene when she can’t avoid panicking, it broke my heart because it told a lot about her story and herself.

Amazing story
The building of the suspense and the scary scenes and the dialogues are 👌👌👌
But I really don’t like “plot twists” that is basically the story having all the signs pointing at something and then the plot twist is the opposite. One thing is creating confusion on the reader, giving them things so they can try to figure out the plot twist. Other thing is basing your whole story on one thing and then expecting a person gets surprised with the plot twist. Of course the reader is gonna be surprised, you spent the whole story saying it is the opposite thing..
