To be fair the writing style is really not for me but I wanted a mystery and I wanted to try something different to what I normally read and that’s exactly what I got.
I think my favourite part is the atmosphere and how it blends reality, fantasy and delusion all together. The descriptions of the otherworld and the House of Dreams were genuinely stunning.
I think overall the plot of the story was interesting and I enjoyed the reveal.
However most of all I enjoyed watching Azure and Indigos relationship, it really highlighted a certain type of friendship young girls can fall into. You could feel every emotion between the two, the love, the want for control, the bitterness and the co dependency they shared with each other.
If you are like me and flowery writing is not normally for you, I would still recommend giving this a try because overall it still held my interest and the story is quite short. So it’s a good novel to give a go and venture into a genre/ writing style you maybe are not as familiar with.

I really like that we are jumping straight into the new arc but I could also see how everyone has changed and evolved over the time jump.

This instalment was so incredibly sad and had me either tearing up or sobbing. The stakes felt higher but the gang felt the same and I was really glad to watch all of their personal growth.

In the wise words of Chappell Roan, my kink is karma and I loved watching Aizen get his ass handed to him.
