Ash has only ever known pain and humiliation, his father has only ever treated him like a piece of meat instead of a son, so being sold to the highest bidder… yeah that tracks. Ash is baffled by his new owner, he seems nice if a little off, Giancarlo is not hurting him, not shouting at him, not giving him rules… Ash is at a loss, he has been taught to always follow the rules, always be a good boy, but how can he do that when Giancarlo doesn’t want anything from him, so they strike a deal, Ash can earn his freedom… but what if he doesn’t want to be free? What is if he just wants to Giancarlo’s?

Giancarlo is not normal, he knows that, anyone that lays eyes on him, knows that. On a collection he decides that he’s sees something for him… Ash…  He bought him on a whim but he doesn’t know what to do with the innocent virgin who talks a mile a minute and has a billion questions…. Ash is a conundrum a mask of innocence and meek will until he’s challenged, then his true fire is shown, funny and sarcastic… Giancarlo strikes a deal with the man, what he didn’t expect was the filthy power house with stamina unmatched to replace the innocent little twink. Giancarlo is taken by surprise which he revels in. This twink needs him and wants him, a way no one ever has. How will Giancarlo ever let him go when the time comes. He knows Ash is meant to be his, how can he convince him to stay? 

History cannot repeat itself , he will not allow that to happen. Enzo will not risk his family and his brothers life ever again. He’s learned from his mistakes and he’ll be damned if he lets his heart get in the way again…. So why can’t he stay away from the cop that is trying to take his family down? One look at Tex and every visceral part of his body knows that Tex is his. In a game of predator and prey he must allow his beast to do what it does best….. Kill….

Tex has worked so hard to get where he is, although some would still argue that two years is a short time to make detective for Tex he was nearing the end of his self-imposed timeline to prove his father wrong, that he is worth it, that he is a great cop and he’ll be a better detective. 

The  Vitale’s  are known as one of the biggest crime families ever to happen upon the city, to prove his father wrong, Tex is going to take them down, he just needs to find a way in. 

He didn’t expect for the tables to turn so quickly, if he thought he was fooling Enzo even for a second he was sorely mistaken, Enzo always had the upperhand from the very beginning, but Tex didn’t expect was to love that he did, to submit even he shouldn’t, to risk his life for this man yet he cannot stop. He has a deadly addiction and he’s never been more willing to hand his soul to the Devil. 

Bilson cannot go through another marriage just for it to end in divorce. He has a problem, he knows that. He just wants someone, someone to love. Someone to hold, someone to love him for him, someone who doesn’t find his love and devotion smothering. In order to get his life back on track he decides a major change is in order… a new city, a new team, a new Bilson. To avoid falling hard and fast for the next woman he sleeps with Bilson is celibate…. Yes celibate…. And he is suffering for it, but he does not regret his decision to move, his new team embrace him with open arms but no one as much as the weird and wonderful Miles Olsen. Bromance is what everyone dubs their friendship but it goes far beyond that, Miles is his person, annoying, weird yet wonderful and makes him laugh more than everyone ever has and makes him feel…. FREE. 

Miles is wonderful and weird goalie, talking to his pet rocks and giving Annette pep talks every game. Being a rookie and coming to the big leagues full time the pressure has never been more intense. Miles puts on a cocky overconfident mask something that his new teammate can see through. Bilson’s life is a mess so Miles is going to be his bestie. This bromance is everything they both need but in order to keep Bilson’s life on track Miles suggests a deal, a Bro-deal. 

What neither of them expected was that their deal would lead to revelations about themselves and their connection… have they found their perfect person in one another or is this just another phase? 

Quinn is devastated and frustrated, this injury can end his career, to rehabilitate it he has to get massages by the one man he can barely function around. Vance is perfect, gorgeous, smart and kind, how is Miles not supposed to react around him… he is mortified every time but Vance is the perfect gentleman and does not acknowledge his ‘situation’…this crush is killing his brain cells, he can’t even form a sentence around Vance. 

Vance has worked hard for his career, a career he loves. He is professional… something he has to remind himself a beautiful, bumbling hockey player lays on his table. After an injury Quinn has become a regular in his schedule trying to rehabilitate a particularly nasty groin injury, while working in that particular area quinn continues to have a natural bodily reaction. Quinn peaks Vance’s interest in general… he doesn’t seem like the average jock, he blushes and stumbles over his words …. Shy maybe? What Vance wasn’t expecting is to overhear a conversation where Quinn says he has a big crush on Vance, it clicks for Vance, all the peculiar behaviour that Quinn displays around him was because of a crush! 

A re injury forces Vance to become Quinn’s sole focus to get him back to his game, Vance is not about to let a crush ruin Quinn’s career…. What he didn’t expect was for Quinn to be the perfect person for him as much as Vance tries to resist Quinn is determined to get his man. 

Anthony a stoic mob boss whose head of an organisation that relies on his every move and decision to be accurate, he is ruthless in his methods and is known as the silencer, not much can shift the stoic mask that Anthony portrays to the world except Tatum ….. the unexpected complication in his world, to protect him he goes to war no one touches Tatum but him. He’s never been protective with any lover but Tatum isn’t just anyone, he understands Anthony and wants him just as he is.

Tatum behinds his outlandish personality and his outspoken opinions, lays vulnerable young man who just wants to be loved for who is. An obsession with a straight faced mob boss rules his daily life he wants him he needs him, just to look at him brings peace to his soul. He’s never been wanted a doted on the way Anthony does. 

This story is full of violence, possession, obsession, want, need and so much more. the Silencer did not disappoint.

There are so many side characters that I want to know: Luca, Bane, Teddy, Angelo, Viktor and Casey to name a few. I’m so excited for the rest of this series. 

Harry an uptight member of the Conservative Party has always loved his life according to what his family legacy states. He’s never had the opportunity to live for himself, to give into his wants and desires. But he cannot risk his standing in his political party as well as his public image. 

Toby a guy with a heart of gold and a member of the Labour Party. He grew up fighting for everything he believes in, a self made man who will not allow someone to destroy everything he has fought for no matter who they are and especially Harry. 

A lovely light hearted rom com, I so love an enemies to lovers troupe. The book takes political enemies far out of their comfort zone to a place where they have to fight for survival. They have to fight for their lives, the food, their water while trying to fight their attraction to one another. In a desperate moment to feel anything other than fear they find comfort in one another. 

Aleks - a newly divorced and single Aleks is struggling on how to kick start this new chapter of his life. Recently coming out to the world as pansexual was supposed to be freeing, so why does he feel more lost than ever? In honoured of moving into a new house the boys throw an epic party that includes flapper dresses, bikinis, fedora’s and lots of alcohol! What could possible go wrong? Cue the fire service being called out to his property and one hunky delicious firefighter that makes him go *Zing*….. nerves be damned Aleks takes one look at Gabe and wants to go to hunk town what he didn’t expect was the more time he spent with Gabe the more genuinely likes the person he is…. Deep down…. Underneath all the muscle…  

Gabe - a hunky firefighter who enjoys no strings attached hookups and of course saving kittys from trees. Doesn’t mind being a gorgeous hockey players first in this new chapter of his life, i mean who better to teach Aleks on how to be a fully fledged member of the rainbow flag. The plan is to casually date each other and enjoy the perks of their new found sexual connection to one another ….. but casual it does not stay. Gabe finds himself thinking about Aleks, finding excuses to spend time with him without it being purely physical. 

Falling for the newbie was not on the agenda for this adventure but he cannot help it, with every beautiful smile, every generous act, every kindness extended to other Gabe sees Aleks for the incredible soul he is. It’s going to hurt when it ends, cause surely Aleks isn’t looking for something serious with his first hookup after his divorce …. Right?  The only way to find out is to take a leap and pray that Aleks

Is brave enough to catch him. 

Oskar - he enjoys life to the fullest, he’s a hockey star, he’s rich, he’s loveable, he’s a goof and most of all he loves sex more specifically he loves to be watched, seen….. noticed…. Shameless … Unfortunately this is landing him in hot water when footage of a ménage à trois is released to the public. Ohhhh boy here we go again… sure he’s blasé about the footage but what he isn’t taking lightly is now his career is now being threatened. It’s all about image, laugh with them, be outrageous, don’t take anything to seriously that way he cannot get hurt. With the image Oskar projects to the world no one looks past his gorgeous face to who he hides underneath, at this point he’s kept up the ruse for so long that he not even sure who he truly is. Enter the PR golden boy Lane… To be babysat by the human version of a chastity belt is annoying, not that he will admit that to Lane….but what he will do is use his charms to to get his own way. 

Lane - for a PR rep,  Oskar is his worse nightmare. Gorgeous fuckboy with a joy for public sex and not a care given in the world as to who sees him. It’s Lane’s job to wrangle the little rebel before he ends up getting fired, what he didn’t expect is underneath all the sarcasm and blasé attitude Oskar just wants to be seen and loved, his vulnerability speaks to Lane and triggers his protective side, to fight for the person Oskar truly is. 

What ensues is a hilarious story with battle of the wills. Will Lake get Oskar’s antics under control or will Oskar drag Lane to the naughty side. They bring out the best and worst in each other but that’s not always a bad thing. Oskar learns what it’s like to drop the act and allow himself to feel with sincerity and Lane learns what it’s like to embrace the fun side of life. 

Tripp - he’s in love with his best friend… his affectionate …. Straight ….. best friend. It’s torture that he willing puts himself through day after day because having the Dex in his life in anyway is worth it. He pushes his feelings down to be the best support for his best friend. He supports him through troubles in his relationship with his narcissistic girlfriend when all he wants to do scream at the top of his lungs that he’s right in front of him but Dex doesn’t see it.

Dex - he is oblivious to a lot of things in life but how great his best friend is not one of them, he couldn’t be without Tripp, Tripp is his other half, someone he likes to cuddle, someone he can talk to, someone who is there through everything. Tripp is his number one priority even over his girlfriend, she’s pushing for a ring for marriage but he’s just not ready so delivers an intimation he cannot meet and breaks up with him. He couldn’t think of anything worse so in a stroke of genius he thought marrying trip as a trial run to see if he can overcome his fear of marriage, what he wasn’t expecting was for the marriage to become real in every sense of the word.

A fake marriage to each other turns their world upside down. Can they make it out of this with their friendship intact or will this destroy everything?  Tripp has loved Dex for forever and a day, how does his heart make it out? Dex has fallen in love with his best friend, but how does he tell him? 

A wonderful story of the stars aligning to give two amazing men a chance at true love. 

Anton - he’s worked to get where he is and people like Ezra irritate him, just because you’re gay doesn’t mean you need to bang everything with a pulse! Where’s the decorum? Where’s the discretion? Where’s the self worth in who you share your body with? People like Ezra is why Anton doesn’t share his personal life with the public, he’s gay and he’s proud of who he is but that doesn’t mean he needs to march in the next pride parade wearing a pink thong and body glitter….. everything comes to a head (no pun intended) when Anton is traded and guess who’s team he ends up on….

Ezra - “I’m queer and here” is basically his motto in life. Playboy is the title he is given and he lives up to that, unashamedly too. He’s free and single so what if he likes to share his body with sinfully beautiful men… He lives his life care free, except when it comes to Hockey, the sport he has been groomed for is the only thing that holds his heart with passion despite his father’s constant disappointment. That is until Anton joins his team. The uptight, judgmental hockey player with an ego that rivals his own. 

The hatred is undeniable. The attraction is undeniable. The passion is undeniable. Anton set rules but dammit if Ezra isn’t the exception. In the end will Anton he enough for Ezra, will their love be enough to withstand the pressure of the public, the pressure of the game, the pressure of expectations…. Only time will tell.
