I love a good Freida McFadden thriller!

On a random note, does anyone else think that this read a little different from some of her other books?  Like the style, pacing, etc?  I don’t really know how to explain it lol!  Anyway, back to the review.

Nora’s father is the notorious handyman- a serial killer that wrecked havoc when she was a child.  She has worked really hard to separate herself from him, but when her patients start dying (in the exact same gruesome way her father’s victims died), hiding her history becomes impossible

Told in dual timelines be prepared for a twist you won’t be prepared for.

I think this may be one of my favorites.

We've got another thriller from Shanora Williams and you know I loved it!!

The conversational writing style and multiple POV's combined with the twists and turns made for a delicious story!

This was definitely a wild ride that had me hooked from the beginning. I really thought I knew what was going on but baybeee- I was wrong!

This comes out on June 25th and you should definitely read it too! Thank you to Netgally for letting me read this early!

After the way book 1 ended I couldn’t wait to get my hands on book 2

I thought reading chapters from a child’s perspective would be weird but it really helped propel the plot.

I may have liked this one more than the first! Did I predict some of the reveals? Yes. Was it still fun getting there? Sure was!

L.G Davis is definitely becoming a go-to author for popcorn thrillers that are easy to love!

biiiiiitch?!! ⬅️ this was my literal reaction to that twist- I was not ready!

I love a good YA murder mystery that can keep me guessing.  This one did just that.

If you’re a A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder or One of Us is Lying stan, you’ll enjoy this debut thriller.

Was it perfect? No, but very few things are. I was thoroughly entertained and I’ll be grabbing whatever she puts out next!

John Marrs doesn’t miss.

I love his books. The way he weaves the plot for his speculative thrillers is perfection.

Imagine you have the opportunity of a lifetime. You’ve always wanted to start a family but due to a number of reasons you’ve been unable to. Now you and 9 other couples have the opportunity to raise a virtual child from birth to 18 over a period of 9 months while the world watches. If you win the reality show you can keep your virtual baby or you keep the money and have the chance to start your own real family. What could possibly go wrong?

This would KILL as an audiobook with the numerous POV’s, commercials, advertisements, and television voiceovers that take place.

There’s something very very wrong with each couple which makes for the ultimate dark and twisty story. The hidden secrets, the lies, the nods to previous books, and the way it all ties together at the end? Obsessed.

I’m not going to lie, I was bored for most of part one, but after that storm?! Baybee, buckle up because part 2 and 3 are about to take your ass for a ride.

This lord of the flies meets survivor meets chaos. I. Was. Stressed.

The chapters were incredibly long, there’s a lot going on and you’ll definitely have to suspend belief. but I can say I did enjoy it overall. I think I picked a good first intro to Ruth Ware.
