This was not the 5 star prediction I wanted it to be but it was really good irregardless. Ikenna is implosive and I can't wait to read the next one to finish off the duology. The amount of hate this book was getting when it first came out is crazy all because the cover looks YA and this is clearly an adult books. Also because the author toured with YA authors but she made it clear this book is an adult book. She was didnt hold any punches when killing characters off. I liked this and will be reading the second one.

What a prequel!! I don't have words right now about how I feel about this book.. maybe I will come back and write a review.

I don't understand the hate.. I loved this book so much.. there were so many kicking my feet moments.. and so many times I totally understood the people pleaser part of Elsie.

I got this from the library because I've seen people talking about it heavy. I actually really liked it and did not see the end coming.. I don't see myself buying them but I will be continuing the series. I don't know if a more detailed review is coming because I'm still a little shocked. My husband and I listened to this as we were on our way out to our date day and finished it as we were on our way home. That makes it more special.

I decided not to rate this because I'm DNFing it. When I read the first one I thought it was super cute, I should have just left it there. Nothing is really happening which is fine with the first one but I guess I went into this one thinking more would happen. What do I mean by more? I have no idea. In all honesty that is my fault and in the defensive of this book it is still really cute. I will not be rating it because I do not rate books I DNF. If you liked the chillness of the first book and all the cooking you will like this second one. 

I was sitting here trying to think of a reason not to give this manga 5 stars and I couldn't so here we are. I loved this so much. As a book lover and also someone 33 the beginning resonated with me. She straight said no. Seeing her and Il talk and the fact he is a book lover too *insert kicking feet*. He is so cute. I find it interesting there is another 'savior' and she is basically ruining everything. Some please tell me there is not only 5??! I'm in a manga book club and this was the pick for January, I'm so happy I bought all of them I could find. I'm excited to see where this goes, I will try not to eat this up in one month.
