Alien invasion, lots of action, a little romance, strong main characters. I liked it. This one will be easy to book talk and will be popular with students.

Alex, suffering from a deadly brain tumor, is out camping in the wilderness when an electromagnetic pulse knocks out everything, kills millions, and turns some survivors into zombies. As Alex struggles to survive, she discovers she has a new special power. Great characters and lots of action! Loved it!

Alex is sentenced to Furnace prison for a murder he didn't commit. Furnace is an underground prison for young offenders and there's no escape. Or is there? Can Alex and his friends find a way out?
Lots of nonstop action!

Jack Reacher wanna be but not too bad.

The last human on Earth must pretend to be a vampire in order to survive. Great stuff with lots of action! Loved it!
