The writing was really well-done. I'm very much a fan of romance stories involving a damsel in distress being saved by the love interest, although many people will tell me I'm not a very good feminist for liking it. The story was good; it did feel a little bit rushed towards the end, though. I didn't really feel a build-up of the relationship between Meghan and Ash. It was just.. there, suddenly. I'm hoping their relationship goes through some better characterization in the next two books that will be here in two days.

The first 5 books I rated 5 out of 5. But after reading the last one, I wish the series ended after book #3, right after Than and Therese married.

Personally I really hate how this ended. I hate that Jen takes the place of a goddess when the entire first three books were Than and Therese working SO HARD to get to that point. Than spent his days putting plants and animals in his room and Therese's dog is now immortal and she's going to die and.... Honestly I'm just not happy at all with the ending.

The books were great overall but I'm disappointed at how Eva chose to finish it. This is what I get for imagining myself in the protagonist's life and letting myself get so emotionally attached to the story. I haven't been able to start a new series yet because I worry that the next book will pull me in and tear me apart again.
