A very eye opening account from Patricia, Some fantastic information within but sadly I found it hard going.  Was it my mood? The writing style? I'm not entirely sure. Some of the cases mentioned really intrigued me especially the way Patricia's work helps to bring justice. But as much as I was excited for and had high expectations for this book I found it slightly lacking, it didn't captivate me in the way I had hoped :(

A collection of short stories from Lysa the paramedic. Very eye opening. Some of the situations mentioned are mind blowing. These real life accounts shared show just how stretched the NHS are and how under appreciated the staff are also. Deeply saddening.

What a powerful read. I'm sure most of us can relate to some if not all of what is mentioned in the book. Reading it filled my heart with hope and despair equally. I laughed I cried and I not so quietly sobbed as I read the tales Christie had to share... this one will definitely stick with me.

Another fascinating book from Dr brown. With each story she shares my heart breaks. For these people just trying to survive. That's all any of us are doing not really living just surviving.  The final account hit me on a personal level. I'm glad that shared story ended the way it did. While heart breaking it was a fitting way to finish the book.
I hope that Dr brown may share more from her time as a doctor at some point.

Okay okay here me out this isn't a bad review. So I had been seeing this book everywhere. So much hype for how it was affecting people I had to dive in* I'm not new to horror or shock worthy books hell I love them* and while I (I don't think enjoyed is correct way to explain it, I did) I just didn't find it lived up to the hype I found it a little lack luster 😩 maybe I'm broken?
I guess thats just something that happens when a book gets so much attention.  its always good to remember no two people will read the book in the same way. And I would hate for my review to in anyway sawy someone's interest in the book*please grab it, read it, enjoy the world created* The writing itself was great don't get me wrong I was unable to stop reading I needed to know what other heartache the pair had been through, the emotions translated amazingly. it just wasn't quite there for me.
Okay so on that note please excuse the spelling mistakes etc it 1am and I'm about to pass tf out 🙈🙊

Wow... mind blown. This was a fantastically written book. Apparently the author normally writes romance... reading that blew me away. Because you wouldn't expect this to be someone's firsts attempt at this genre. I was not expecting that ending at all.
 Again just wow.

I fucking loved every page. If it weren't for life getting in the way this book would have been read in one sitting.
