Daisy Haites by Jessa Hastings
5.0
I LOVED daisy and christian in MP so I was def excited to read about them and their dynamics. I love them both individually and also love them both together. I liked how Dais speaks and acts freely; I appreciated seeing her vulnerable side as well (in a way?). Her wanting to be normal with the cards she’s been dealt w at such an early age. I’m conflicted w the breakup bc they could’ve talked it out but at the end of the day their experiences shape their mindset and how they react to situations. I want to see what her character experiences in the next book. Christian has definitely experienced so much. I was glad to be able to see his mindset and how he dealt w him loving Magnolia; it gave me insight on how magnolia has toyed/taken advantage of said feelings. I want to see how his life looks like in the next book. I think that dais & christian’s relationship has similar traits to Magnolia & BJ. I loved having Julian’s pov and I loved him until things started spiraling out and Im not sure how it’s gonna play out because I love him and I love daisy and them being their own family left has me distraught because they’ve only had each other for the last couple of years.
Cruel King by Rina Kent

This was my first Rina Kent book and I loved it. I personally loved Astrid more than Levi as main characters but I still loved Levi. I don’t usually love bully romances but this book wasn’t full of Levi making Astrid’s life miserable.
Scoring With Him by Lauren Blakely

I love Lauren’s books so I’m not surprised that I loved this book too. I loved both Grant & Declan both individually & together. I’m glad I was able to understand them and who they are in regards to what they experienced early on in life. They both opened themselves to one another and let themselves see each other for who they are. I was definitely not expecting the cliffhanger but I’ve started the second book! I loved their friendship and banter before they even made an arrangement. I can’t wait to finish the second book!
The Right Move by Liz Tomforde

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this book. I was excited to read about Ryan and I fell in love with him. His and Indy’s love is literally unmatched. Indy is literally me as a book character. Being able to see Ryan go from the person he was at the beginning to the person he was at the end!! I was able to see myself from both perspectives of the MCs so I appreciated it within the book. Once again, I loved every second of the book.

I think this has become my favorite book of the series. Jasper and Sloane’s story is friends to lovers which is absolutely my FAVORITE trope. Seeing them go from friends and being their for each other to being in a relationship was everything. This was definitely and emotional journey but it was so rewarding. Learning about them as children and throughout the years was told so well. If you haven’t read this book, you NEED to!!

This was such a cute read, I haven't read the other Campus Wallflower books but I was still able to enjoy this book. This book is about Jane, who was a former childhood actress/singer who is currently trying to live a normal life however her past makes it a little difficult. Hendrick, is a former NFL player who was hired as her private bodyguard to facilitate her college life. Their attraction began throughout their interactions as Hendrick was just the grumpy stranger who swooped in to protect Jane. As the book continued, they tried their best to maintain things professional for the benefit of keeping Jane safe & this definitely allowed their relationship blossomed naturally.
In addition, I loved the glimpses of the other Wallflower couples/characters and I'm excited to go back and read the rest of the series. I also loved seeing Hendrick's brothers and would definitely want to read their books if they got any

This story follows content creater /social media Maven King& hockey player Vince Tanev. This is the first book of Kandi’s new hockey series and if you know me I LOVE me some hockey books. She did an absolutely amazing job with this book. Maven is hired to do PR work for Vince’s team and has to follow him for 24/7. Their banter & tension throughout their time spent together was top TIER.

This book follows Yara Kingsley and Alejandro (Alex) Ramirez. Alex is a well-known chef that has recently moved to Honey Creek which is Yara's hometown. Yara is the owner of Honey Creek’s doggy daycare.
I was instantly attached to Yara and her story. I was very intrigued as to how her story would go seeing as she was recently separated from her Ex-husband and despite her negative experiences with love/relationships she was still hoping for a HEA.
Alex on the other hand, was having a rough time especially as he was a new person within Honey Creek. He is definitely the opposite of Yara. However, they compliment one another really well. The book reminded me of cute romcom movie set in a small town. If you need a fall read, this is a perfect book !I’m super excited for the next book!
if you love the following tropes, this book is for you:
★ DUAL POV
★ grumpy x sunshine
★ forced proximity
★ opposites attract
★ small town
★ fake dating
