I wont this book in a Giveaway, and when I got it on the mail, I wasn't sure what to expect from it. I had no clue.
But, as I normally do, I put it in my "to read" pile until it was its turn.

Now, talking about about.
It has, as most books, things I liked and things I didn't.
Let's start with the ones I liked.

The way it's written its amazing. It's easy to read, but not too simple at the same time. I started it this morning and before I noticed I was half done with it. It has a strong start, and things happen one after the other. The author don't waste any time with unnecessary details. It has just enough descriptions for you to imagine it perfectly fine, not exaggerating or trying to force a poetic language just to make it look "more professional", like I've seen other authors doing.

The story is not bad. But it's not good either. Feels like a cliche from the late 80s. I'haven't read anything like this since I was 10, so I didn't mind it -I guess it even made me feel a bit nostalgic-.

So, all in all, it was interesting and, more important than that, it was worth reading. That's what matters.

Now. Since I work at a publishing company, I'm a bit disappointing with the design.
The book cover seems odd, and not in a good way. The font's don't match the illustration and look like picked by a little kid.
The inside is too plain. Font is a bit bigger than it should and lines shouldn't be that separated. The white paper of the inside makes me feel as if they used the same sheets you normally put in your home printer. I didn't like it.

But, as I said before, the most important thing is that the book is worth reading, so I would recommend it. Specially for nostalgic people who liked the old style (kind of) horror stories from the 80s.

-I apologize if my English is not the best-
