hey why the fuck is this rated so highly. i forced myself 80% of the way thru the book but when the biggest plot twist was they stole a child and forced him to be transgender????????? i could not handle this anymore . also the tone was ALL over the place the whole time. what the fuck is even going on .

Started out deeply strange but very intriguing, but I feel like the story really overcomplicated things & lost itself in the last half. Could’ve been executed a lot better imo but it was a cool concept.
