~ The Language of the Heart ~
Whenever I'm too excited or emotionally stimulated, everything goes ABBA DABBA JABBA in my head. Finishing this story, I have a similar reaction.
White Nights is a small, melodramatic tale that is going to break your heart in the end. So tread carefully!
One might argue that there are countless tragic books that do that, what sets White Nights apart?
Because Dostoevsky gives the most truthful and beautiful portrayal of the ABBA DABBA JABBA that you feel when you see someone and it feels like love at first sight
the colours you begin to see in this bleak lonely world, the tunes your excitement dances to,
the nonsensical blabber that comes out of your nervous lips,
the erratic palpitations of your heart before you confess your feelings as if you could burst any moment,
the jubilation of dreaming a future together,
and, the helpless pain of heartbreak that leaves your world colourless and you lonely, again.
I did ask you to proceed with caution. But if you're inclined to trust my judgment, close your eyes and plunge headfirst into White Nights.
Of course you'll have to open your eyes to read, duh!
Aap convince hogaye ya main aur bolun?
