If you’re expecting something sinister and worthwhile throughout the book… you’re in the wrong place. The majority of this book is a long lead up for something that happens within the last 30 or so minutes of the novel and then it just ends abruptly. Needless to say, I expected more and didn’t get that; those last 30 minutes were a little insane. Be warned, however, that there is a rather brutal animal death during the end section of this novel. Wasn’t a fan of that.
