This was definitely a fun read, and I liked the characters a lot. The plot dragged around the 75% point, which was unfortunate, and the ending felt too rushed. Overall still a very cozy read but the emotional beats didn't land well for me due to pacing problems.

This book really changed the way that I look at chores and care tasks, and I am very grateful that it exists. I've been tweaking a lot of these everyday tasks to fit my own needs for years, but this book allowed me to not feel shame for doing things differently and work towards caring for myself better.

This might be one of my all-time favorite books. I laughed. I cried. I cheered. And I screamed.

Jade is my exact kind of character, and her story breaks my heart, but I am so, so glad I read it.
