I wish more of the issues brought up during the stories where addressed. The end felt rushed but hopefully what I am hoping will be a sequel addresses some of the things that I felt where lacking. (So many apologies are owed to FMC)

I wish someone told me it wasn't horror but a new adult, slow burn, second chance romance with very slight horror elements. I may have enjoyed it more in a different head space. 
Even then it had one of my least favorite romance tropes being the miscommunication / bad communication and the book is 85-95% just that. So maybe I still would see it as a 2.75 star.
