I don’t even know how to put into words the emotions K. Loraine and Meg Anne put me through with this one! I was absolutely NOT ready for bomb after bomb they dropped on me. Like every time I think things can’t get crazier, these two go ‘hold my beer’! Rosie and her men are in the thick of it and trying to find a way out even as it seems there isn’t one. I’m definitely on the edge of my seat anxiously awaiting to see how it all plays out. Of course, the spice was impeccable and that audio was too phenomenal for words, seriously it should be illegal for an audio to be so good!

I am enjoying this series so much. One thing these authors do so well is Character development. Rosey has grown so much mentally, emotionally and now a major physical change. This change alters everything! Gavin is now on my list of characters I love (see, thank you k. Loraine and Meg. Anne for Character growth). I still hate Pan. God, poor Asher and Remy.

This is the third story in this s eries and these 2 authors didn't dissapoint. Highly recommended

I had been anticipating this book ever since the cliffhanger in Claimed by the Shifter! My emotions were all over the place throughout this entire book. I can’t get enough of this series, Meg Anne and K. Loraine know how to hit you with those spicy scenes and the twists and turns that will keep you coming back for more.

This cast continues to impress more and more with each installment. Stella Hunter as she brings Rosie’s wild and emotional sides in this story. Jacob Morgan is perfect at delivering Remi’s sarcasm and is the perfect comedic relief when the story hits on your emotions. J.F. Harding’s performance tugs on the heartstrings as he showcase’s Ben’s turmoil with his feelings for Rosie. Teddy Hamilton hits all the emotions as we discover more about Asher’s past. James Joseph is just so brilliant at being bad as our demon Pan you love and hate. John Hartley delivers Gavin’s commanding and possessive personality as he helps Rosie and the others throughout the story.

We also see the return some of our favorite Mate Games War characters. I hearing Noah and Kingston banter from James and J.F. and we also get to see Jason Clarke as father Caleb playing an important role in the story. Between the story and audio you are not going to want to miss the third installment of this paranormal why choose.

Oh, my heart. Once again, Captive of the Night picks up where the last book left off… with Rosie dead. Ish. She returns as the thing Ben hates most, and his coming to terms with who Rosie is now was heartbreaking.

I love how supportive Remi and Gavin were, especially when they realized Rosie’s appetite was immense. Gavin couldn’t sustain her alone, but damn if he didn’t try. If there is a character in this series who has grown, it’s Gavin. Rosie has anchored him, but he is in it 100%, even when it went against his nature to share. When Ben couldn’t get his head out of dark places, Gavin was there to convince him to help her.

My heart hurts for Asher and Remi. Damn that Pan. Our resident demon has taken over Asher’s body, and it took a while for everyone to see. He struggled so hard to come back to Rosie and Remi. Pan just about ripped Remi’s heart out, but thankfully he had Rosie to hold his pieces together.

Also to note: Rosie is a queen, Caleb is still my favorite sexy Irish priest, and Pestilence is worse than War.

I didn't think anything could top the first Mate Games series, but this book may have singlehandedly done it. Without giving too much of the plot away, this book gives you all the emotions. From the light witty banter moments, to the heartbreaking sad and heavy ones. The guys are really going through it in this book, and you can't help but feel for them.
And as someone who's favorite character was Pan in the first books, I just don't see how he will redeem himself after this. I know he's a villain character, but I need a little redemption from him. And I did not expect to start liking Gavin as much as I did in this book.
Now I can't wait for the final book to come out so we can see how Rosie and her mates overcome their obstacles to get their happy ever after.

This book had me hooked from start to finish! The authors, Meg Anne and K. Loraine delivered an emotional rollercoaster filled with spicy scenes and unexpected twists. The narrators brilliantly portrayed the characters, including Stella Hunter as Rosie, Jacob Morgan as Remi, J.F. Harding as Ben, Teddy Hamilton as Asher, James Joseph as Pan, and John Hartley as Gavin. It was exciting to see familiar faces from the Mate Games War series, like Noah and Kingston and Father Caleb, portrayed by Jason Clarke. The apocalyptic plotline kept me on edge, and the gritty moments added urgency to the story. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment in The Mate Games: Pestilence series to see how Rosie and her mates navigate the challenges ahead.
