Killer Kiss by Elle Thorpe is a romantic suspense romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Michelle Sparks and Corvin King. This is the third book in the Saint View Strip series.
I love Elle's books! She does an amazing job pulling me in from the very beginning and I can't help but binge her books in one sitting. The chemistry between Augie and Ophelia was off the charts! I loved them together. I really enjoyed getting Augie, Ophelia, Zane, and Otis's points of views throughout the book.
I can't wait for the final book in the series to be announced.
Corvin and Michelle did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, contemporary romance, or romantic suspense.

If anyone can take a character who seems completely irredeemable and not only show us some redeeming qualities but also make us fall in love with that character, it's Elle Thorpe. I would've said there was no way I'd even like Augie, let alone find him redeemable. I even felt bad for him a couple of times! I suppose this book is pretty much a redemption story for both Augie and Ophelia. Neither of them is innocent by any stretch of the imagination, so it's only fitting that they find each other and a chance for love with each other. We also get to catch up with several Saint View characters, which is always good. It's also a lot of fun, depending on which characters we're visiting. In this case, I got to visit with some favorites, and that, combined with a totally dark and gritty romance, made Killer Kiss one of my favorite trips to Saint View! That's really saying something, considering the company this book is in. So, to sum it up, Killer Kiss is everything dark and dangerous I love about Elle Thorpe's books, and I can't wait to visit again.

Read for the Magical Readathon.
I enjoyed this more than the first book (knowing me, I definitely didn’t read the second book because I can never read anything chronologically).
I loved Augie and Lia’s chemistry and romance. Sadly, I wish they didn’t drastically remove Augie’s stripper life from the book. It was how he earned his living, yet it was pushed to the back burner. I wish there were more scenes of his stripper life while he was navigating life with Lia too.
Also, the book kept mentioning how Lia struggled internally with a part of her enjoying killing but I didn’t really see that apart from the job bag scene with her mother and her job with Riddick. I wish this was emphasized more, especially since in the first few chapters she felt so badass. Slowly, as their romance progress, her “career” was pushed back as well.
The spice was okay, nothing too extreme or kinky.
This book was more focused on family. And that’s also why I was hoping their found-family in the strip club would have had more scenes or involvement.
I adore Scythe! He was such a fun character to read. So unhinged and psychotic.
Looking forward to reading the last book. That was some twist, though, not as unexpected. I had an inkling we haven’t seen the last of them.

I loved the dynamic with Augie and Ophelia, the ending was a perfect twist. Elle had me almost wanting to throw the book but it's okay, without giving spoilers I just want to say it's okay things work out for who we want them to work out for. Reddik made me want to punch things, Ophelia's "mother" never deserved the title of mother, this gave use some look as to why her kids are the way they are. I can not wait for the next one!
Only thing I wish that there was more spice or variety of spice. it was a healthy amount but given Augie's background I wish there was more in depth scenes.

If you’ve read the other installments in the Saint View world, you know that Augie has not always been the favorite. I was hesitant to read his story because of his previous shenanigans. His redemption started in the last installment when we saw more of his life and his loyalty to those he loves. We also saw Ophelia in earlier installments in the Saint View world. She piqued my curiosity. I love a strong FMC who is feminine while also able to look after herself. Augie’s and Ophelia’s story was so good. Augie saw Ophelia and quietly tended to her needs without having to be directed or told. I feel like they both had their redemption stories in this one fabulous story. There was one thread that I felt was talked up but then not addressed. But there is one book left to come, so maybe it will untangle that one thread of Augie’s. The duet narration was great for this story and really brought the characters’ emotions into the story. Highly recommend this in whichever form you choose to read or listen! As always: CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!

Absolutely loved this audiobook! Duet narration & additional sound effects! I knew I liked Michelle Sparks, but I really enjoyed Corvin King as well!
I’ve been patiently waiting for the next book in the Saint View Strip series. The breadcrumbs Elle left us to setup Augie’s story had me so excited! I loved the push and pull between Ophelia and Augie! And seeing the OGs from Saint View Prep was so fun!! So excited for what’s next!
