This book knocked it out of the park. There were so many twists and turns it was hard to keep up but dayum! It was awesome. Lucia is my favorite side character. I love that by the end Alana fucking Montoya got her HEA and had the family she wanted. I was so proud of her character development. I want Alex to be my second book husband (Rhysand high lord of the night court is book husband number one). He took care of her. Yes he says some things he doesn’t mean to her but he was trying to protect himself. He did redeem himself after he burned shit to the ground to get her back. Loved it. Great book. Happy little bow on the duet.

As with the first book it's not technically great...but it sure does the job.

The writing is truly terrible. But I guess I can't resist a bad boy.

There was more of a plot to this one but that just made the s*x scenes more intense. The kidnap scene was a bit much for me though. Should come with a bigger TW.

I can't say I was a fan of the ending. Years in the future. With a family. Very unsexy for me. Nope. No thank you. That's not what I read these books for.

I will be reading book 3 but im not sure how I feel about it already...I miss Alejandro and Alana. But fingers crossed its just as 'spicy'...

The plot was surprisingly good. Predictable but I still enjoyed this book. The way Alejandro loves Alana and was fiercely protective of her.. swoon worthy.

To read this book I recommend reading the fierce king first so it’s easy to understand and follow through the story of Alejandro and Alana. I also enjoyed this book, it showed how Alana developed her character. In the fierce king she was insecure about many things but in this she was more confident I would say. There is also a plot twist that I guess you wouldn’t see it would happen. I did have a clue on what it was or who it was when reading through it. Overall I would recommend this book. Also a spicy book so if you are into it then give it a read
