No literary feat, but definitely entertaining. Would recommend to any mystery lover.

I literally could not even finish this book. I had like ~60 pages left and I skipped to the last page to see how it ended

Was good until the end. The person they choose and the reasons behind it were kind of boring. The end was a bit of a letdown after the action and supposition. I also didn't like the way she portrayed the police officers.

At 1st I was interested in finding out what happened to Mack but I wasn't too crazy about the ending.

I've only read two of MHC's books, but neither was fulfilling. This book was particularly disappointing and predictable, and the ending was crammed into a few pages. Don't even get me started on the romance. Nick had no redeeming qualities! This story felt sloppy. I'm sad to say that I'm going to pass on her other books.

I thought this was one of the better Mary Higgins Clark books. Good story line with enough suspense to keep me interested in it

This was an entertaining enough read. Clark is, like most mystery authors, fairly formulaic, and her writing is only so-so. This book I didn’t figure out until the end, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort on the author’s part. She could stand to be a little more withholding as far as the actual mystery goes.

I have one more Clark book that I bought, and I’ll probably finish it since it’s there, but after I don’t think I’ll be investing anymore into her as an author.
