Elizabeth Packard was an amazing woman. Fierce and fearless. This book should be required reading. If Project 2025 comes to fruition I fear this could be our future as well as our past.

This could've been a four/five star with a good editor and a professional narrator. It seemed very repetitive to me. I'm so grateful to be a woman today. So terrible how many women were institutionalized for having independent ideas or being disagreeable. Glad to learn her story.

Really cool book but very long and could get confusing with so many annotations and such. Totally worth the read but be prepared for a very long book.
