I enjoyed the book and I did like it in the end. However I think it was the fact that the main character just tried to turn into someone she’s not. I know guilt can do a number of things but I did corner quite a few times. I was definitely not expecting some parts and was on the edge of seat at times.

A very easy read and a good thriller! I enjoyed this book and loved the characters in it. I read it very quickly, mostly because I wanted to know the truth behind what happened to Rose!!

I have to admit that despite not liking the protaganist one bit, I enjoyed the book. The writing was good, the mystery was excellent, the plot twist was great though I suspected part of it was coming (mainly cos I read the other reviews about the plot twist). Emily and Cain were both unlikable characters with barely any redeemable qualities. It jumps straight into the action with the first few pages and it slows down for a bit, but half way through the book, the story picks up and I did not want to put it down.

This has been on my TBR pile for ages and if its on yours push it forward.

This is a little gem of a psychological thriller.

We are all guilty of this but if  you’ve ever found yourself scrolling through Facebook or Instagram and envying the perfect life of someone you see on there, then let Her Name Was Rose be a warning to you. No ones life if that perfect. It's all fake.

Emily the main character witnesses the death of Rose which leads her to try jump into her shoes, quite literally, as on social media Rose had the perfect life.

Emily Is a difficult character to analyse just getting out of a disastrous relationship and being relient on alcohol and pills, as a reader you instantly question her mental health as she is very unhinged. She becomes obsessed with Rose, applies for her vacent job and even starts to get to know her grieving husband.

Emily follows all her old posts on Facebook and literally like Single White Female tries to jump into this dead womans shoes. The book looks at how social media effects relationships and how we view ourselves and others. It also address both physical and psychological abuse.

This book is gripping and a real page Turner. There are lots of red herrings and the ending I did not see coming at all.

What a wonderful little thriller. I enjoyed that much more than I expected - and as always I go into thriller books without reading the synopsis.

Rose was a woman who appeared to have it all, a wonderful husband, a perfect life, a huge house. But appearances, especially those made on social media are often a lie, which to Emilys horror she found out first hand after Rose's hit and run accident that left Rose dead. Emily had no hesitation into stepping into Rose's Former life - where she finds Rose's perfect imagine was everything but perfect.

Very enjoyable and one I would definitely reccomend.

I struggled with this book, I didn’t really like many of the characters and found the plot to be a bit scatty. I thought the ending was good, predictable but it saved it.

This was a slow train crash that started coming from the start of the book. No real surprises, the clues were laid out so clearly you couldn't miss them. Some sloppy editing in places too. The use of the word 'Sat' to cover any means of seating was quite weird - maybe an Irish thing? Anyway, it was readable enough.
