I enjoy basically anything Coben puts to paper. His tales always crackle with intrigue, heart, humor and suspense. This, the first time we see longtime sidekick Win take center stage, is no different. There is charm, self effacing observations, and interwoven mysteries that leave you wondering how this could be tidied up neatly by the end.

But it doesn’t. That’s the beauty of Coben’s work. Like the world around us, sometimes the clearer the answer, the more messy a result. As Win himself tells us in the last chapter, life is lived in the gray.

I didn't enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed most of Coben's other books as I didn't like the main character, he's not really believable as a 'real life' type of batman. The plot and mystery was enjoyable though.
