read this book because I read the others during high school and I never got to read this one.
rating it 2 stars cause I didn't really like the high school girl cliché (I'm incredibly pretty but also bullied by everyone and I get mad about everything and also I'm insecure). I believe Cam's story could have been developed better, he's a real interesting character and deserved more than this. the ending is rushed, with no shock element, I believe it wasn't written with real intention in making his story interesting. the stories in fallen in the dark are just, so much better!! Cam deserved so much better than this story. I'm really disappointed.

This book didn't need to happen, the Fallen series was pretty good up until this. The most depressing book I have ever read.

AGHHHHHH I cried a lot. In chapter 1 Lilith won me over, it was a growing love for her character. Cam and Lilith is just so cute. I loved this book, it made me feel all those gushy feelings, except Lucifer. Every time Lucifer interrupted a special moment I just wanted to strangle him. I just wished there was a small epilogue or something because there were some problems at the end of the book, left unsolved, like Cam being a fallen angel and Lilith a mortal. Will Cam change into a mortal just like Daniel did? Roland said he was going to chase after Lucifer, but that's a whole other story though. Overall I'm happy with the ending like with Rapture, I wanted a bit more, but it's still really good.

Cam was my favorite character in the Fallen series and having finally read a book that focused more on him was really satisfying.

I think I give up on this author. I thought this would be better after the awful way the original books had ended, but I was completely wrong. In the original books I had enjoyed this character, Cam, a lot so thinking it would be a book about him I would love it.... I didn't. This book was really pointless, filled with teen angst (and don't tell me "but this is a teen book", because I have read many teen books with a lot of depth and 0 teen angst) and no direction. It just went on and on and on, with no real story. I am giving up on this author and I am upset that I spent the time that I spent reading this stupid book. P.S. Whoever decided to choose Justine Eyre to narrate the book in the audio version should be fired, it made the book even worse.
