This was romance at its best. And usually, I can't stand it.
But maybe it's because it's almost Valentine's Day or because I'm almost on my period but I got so attached to these characters and the pain they felt broke my heart.

I'm not the biggest fan of Lauren's writing, but to read about Cam after 6 years was sweet.
Now though, I'm going to stay away from romance for 10 years or something.

As always Lauren Kate has written a story that I wished would never end and was left wanting more. I honestly think Lauren Kate could write 25 MORE Fallen stories and it never get old! Getting to see more from Cam and see a glimpse into his heart was a wonderful experience. Cam was one of my favorite characters in this series. Sometimes I liked him better than Daniel! To see him in this story and watch him try to get the happy ending that Luce and Daniel got, is amazing. Cam deserves that. Learning about Lilith was also very cool. I think it would be awesome to see what all the Fallen are up to these days.

Ever since I first started reading the 'Fallen Series', Cam alongside others such as Roland and Arriane have been my favourite to read about, every time they would be brought up I got excited and finally finishing this book has been amazing. I just had hoped that Roland and the other had gotten full books for themselves and not just short stories in 'Fallen in Love', all of their stories are so interesting but back to 'Unforgiven'.

Cam and Lilith back and forth type of relationship in this had me on the edge of my seat especially when it got down to those last few hours/minutes, every time Cam made progress it was lost again and having him continue to build the relationship back up even when everything is lost was amazing to me. It felt like i was reading a real relationship and not just a fictional one. The ending had my heart beating so incredibly fast especially for the last 5 and 2 minutes. When Cam said he would replace Lilith in her situation made me realise how much Cam loved her and how much he would do for her, bro all i want is someone who would do that for me :(

The friendship but also not friendship between Chloe and Lilith was again a good pacing for me, especially when Lilith and Chloe had written that song together and how they acted together afterwards, Chloe attitude towards Lilith had changed to a almost protective way seeing as how she treated Cam at prom, the relationship was again very realistic as people like that won't immendently be best friends but her changing was a sign that Lilith's life was getting better.

Lucifer had me in all sought of feelings, when Cm had first made the deal with him i was confident in that Cam would win, but when Lucifer put himself into the narrative and was making Cam's life an actual living hell, i was honestly getting worried especially at the proms scenes my heart my god. But the ending when he disappeared was incredibly imo.

The cameo with Roland and Arriane was everything for me, how they helped Cam win despite not believing he could. Felt like a real friendship, the trio has my heart honestly <3.

Probably my favourite book in the series just again Rapture.
