Tiktok you’ve done it again! Had me reading a book because of a singular quote I saw in a less than 15 second video. This was giving miscommunication trope but like how can yet be miscommunication when they never have an actual conversation. Also misogyny

Okay overall. Got a bit boring and repetitive. College football romance. Reformed playboy, sassy ex-cheerleader

Another amazing read from Alley! This is part 1 of Kayla and Mason’s story. Mason “Casanova” Nova is the star tight end of the U of J Hawks. Kayla Dennings is the girl who wants to stay under the radar but still catches Mason’s eye. The endless banter between Kay and Mase was one of my favorite parts of this book. I love the epic friendships that Alley creates in her books that always make you want to be a part of their crew. If you love sports rom coms and enemies to lovers this one is for you! I loved this book and will be impatiently waiting for book number two to see what happens next for Mason and Kayla!

Warning: This book ends on a cliffhanger that will leave you cursing Alley and screaming why!

this book reads like a fanfiction written by a 16 year old. None of the other characters beside Mason and Kayla have any depth or storylines other than just being Kayla's friends who are always there for her. Kayla is extremely codependent and is literally always freaking out which just becomes so boring after the first few times.

That was confusing. Everyone's nickname is a letter, it was so hard to follow. There are some things left unexplained, and i know it's to create some sort mistery, but it was hard to understand the characters' actions. Like the Chrissy/Tina thing; it's mentioned so many time and it's the reason for the "cliffhanger", but we still don't know what this Chrissy/Tina thing is.

I will not continue this series..
