Absolutely loved this sexy cozy romance. The author was able to keep the themes light but realistic. The only negative would be that I would have preferred it to be a dual POV.

Amount of spice:🔥🔥🔥🔥
Explicitness: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
❤️Live-in Nanny & Boss (He’s the nanny)
❤️Single Parent
❤️Super Steamy
❤️Sweet Family Dynamics
❤️Insta-Lust
❤️Cardiothoracic Surgeon FMC
❤️GREAT Communication
This book was a perfect mix of sweet, sexy, fun and wholesome. I also loved the role reversal where the MMC was the nanny because we don’t often get to see this in romance novels. Sloane was a fantastic character and really loveable but it definitely took me a little bit longer to warm to Rafe but by the end he had grown on me and I liked their dynamic a lot. I listened to this on audio and I think I probably would have enjoyed it a lot more if it had been dual narration.
Rebekah Weatherspoon writes really HOT spice and this book was no exception, there were points where it gave me butterflies which doesn’t happen often for me. Overall, this was a very easy, steamy, enjoyable read and I think Rebekah will be a go to author for me when I feel like some fluffy spice.
I would recommend it if you’re looking for a short read packed full of wholesome fluff and steamy spice.

Sweet yet raunchy romance about Sloan and Rafe. I really liked both of them and the kids were cool too.

Good idea in theory for a book but I was thoroughly bored throughout. It could just be me and my mood so I might try again later. 2.5 ⭐

This is pretty silly and unrealistic wish fulfillment overall, but unlike some other books I've read lately, I thought this one would be more up my alley because Rafe has more traits I'm into than a lot of the others (i.e. he's not a jealous asshole). By the halfway point I was pretty annoyed with this though and couldn't figure out why exactly. I think part of it was I really didn't like how this narrator did Rafe's voice at all. I suspect his dialogue would have still been pretty cringey on the page, but this voice acting definitely didn't help. The plot was definitely not the focus of this book, so that made it harder to look past my dislike of Rafe's dialogue/voice. I knew it wasn't a super long book, but when the epilogue time jump popped up, I couldn't believe that was it. Overall it felt like a follow up novella that might be bonus content on an author's website after a more fully fleshed out novel.
