Mini-Review:

The cynic in me wants to label this as 'fantasy' but I will leave it be as a modern romance. =P

Knitting in the City is a very popular series amongst my friends. I can see why. The slew of varied factoids is very impressive and (mostly) adorable in that cringe worthy & grin kind of way.

It was a decent diversion from the my space opera rampage.

A cute & totally unbelievable romance.

Loved this book, Quinn and Janie... YAY!! The las vegas bachelette was hilarious.
This story focuses on the development of Janie and Quinn's relationship.
We meet Quinn's family in Boston. Quinn's parents are amazing and the way they understand and accept Janie is so sweet.
Hints at Dan and Kat, very sad.

It was okay, male interest is a bit controlling. Not a fan. But it was easy to read.

I loved it just as much as the first in the series. And now I'm eager to read the rest of the series since I've gotten to know all the characters so much better

Penny Reid hits it out of the park again. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried (am crying). And just overall enjoyed this ride. I’ve already ordered physical copies of the first 3 books (I already have Beauty and Mustache). I love how these characters are flawed, how they value their friends. Are people I would want to be, and be friends with.

All the stars, folks. All. The. Stars.

I adore this couple. Janie and Quinn are awesome and seriously perfect for each other. I often get annoyed with all of the additional novellas and short stories that seem to accompany series these days, but this was truly perfect.

I was told to read book 2 before this one-on-one but I could see how it could really go either way. Half of this book is pre book 2, and the other half is post. But I'm glad I already knew Nico and his charisma!

I have to take a break from this series for awhile since my library doesn't have them and I need to take a break on the book buying for the time being. Plus, I'm mad that Kat and Dan's story isn't next! What's up with that???

Not my favorite chicklit series, but this sequel at least kept me from doom-scrolling election returns. Some parts were lovely, others were cringe-worthy

I loved this continuation of Janie and Quinn's story! This book was the funnies yet and so sweet and swoony. Despite Janie's attempt to manufacture drama, it wasn't angsty all and just gave me big smiles and giggles all the way through.
