The book has not aged well. Whilst has interesting ideas it didn't feel pivotal to the way I see the world or myself

This book has somw really good parts but this is overshadowed by how much the author waffles on irrelevant content.
I believe that this book is twice as long as it should be.

Now was a good time in my life to read this book. I'd been shifting to some of the Habits over the last year but didn't have names or paradigms to put to them. This book provided more framework. It also helped to cement a lot of perspective and decision shifting and to chart a path forward for further work. As a direct result, I've improved my planning, have a plan for adopting all the Habits, and am striving to apply the book's principles to other areas of my life.
Some of the writing was repetitive when I felt ready to move on, but that part of the writing may just be to reach a wider audience. Overall, I very much appreciated the book and will likely turn back to it as a resource.

I probably would have rated this higher if I had read it earlier, since it kind of summarized a lot of things I've read here and there. Particularly well-described concepts I liked: production vs production capacity, emotional deposits (ie building bridges you can cross later through connection and showing people you care about them).
