Once again a great Star Wars Novel. Of it is, being that it's the second Star Wars movie ever. Once again, little things threw me, perhaps the greatest being that Vader called Obi-wan "Ben", and name he never heard. And then Yoda's blue, not green. Also strange. But still very well done. :)

Eine weitere gelungene Niederschrift des filmischen Klassikers. Natürlich lässt sich der Titel leicht weglesen, so wie wir es gewohnt sind. Schön auch hier die vertieften Einsichten in die Figuren. R2 ist eifersüchtiger als bisher angenommen und Luke musste mehr als gezeigt gegen die Dunkle Seite ankämpfen.

Nur schon für solche Informationen lohnt sich für Fans die Lektüre der Bücher. Auch dann, wenn man die Filme bereits mehrfach gesehen hat.

My only complaint about this version is Han Solo's spiel before the carbonite situation. It's just not the same having the iconic "I know" bit taken out. Come on now, the Han Solo we know is not the mushy sap we see in the book scene. For that reason alone I have to say the movie was better but heck if this book didn't put up a good fight.
