As always, a really good story marred by one-T-Scot's love for torture and hate for the Constitution. 4.5 for the story, minus points for Scot's being a jack@ss, 3 overall.

Kind of predictable and the end was too sudden. Still enjoyed it though.

I thought the ending was so abrupt??? Like all of that build up and I wanted to enjoy the payoff a bit more

Another good read by Brad Thor. This had so much potential, but it fell short. The book could have used another 100 or so pages. This would have filled out the plot lines nicely. The ending felt rushed and unsatisfying.
If you like fast paced spy/hitman thrillers then Brad Thor is a must read.

Pretty good political thriller. The good guys are maybe too good and the bad guys too one-dimensional, but for a nice plane-ride type read this is pretty good.

Brad Thor’s books tend to follow a specific formula, and this one was no different. But that being said, I do enjoy this character (Scot Harvath) and I appreciate that many of the story lines in these books are likely based on some sort of reality. There are so many things that go on behind the scenes of the American government and intelligence community that we normal people just aren’t aware of. I appreciate the little peek behind the curtain.

An enjoyable high-paced thriller. A good read for a plane with minimal thinking involved.

Did not like this book. I listened to it on the drive home from Dallas. The ending did not make sense when compared to the rest of the book.

Another great story by Brad Thor. I could not put this down especially the last 1/3 of the book. I highly recommend this book.
