Two people constantly being out of sync with each other in time and place - a little slow paced for me especially the beginning

I can’t decide if I want to give this book three or four stars. Four stars for the characters, writing and flow of the story. The actual content of the story? Not my favorite. It had the feel to it where they’re really trying to sell you on an idea and it wasn’t subtle. If you’re going to try to convince me that a couple of kids who were raised as “step siblings” are cool to have a romantic relationship with each other I’m going to need a little more than she gave me. Technically they aren’t related to each other. True. I got that part. It just doesn’t feel as black and white as that and I don’t know that I’m here for it.

Excellent. This is the book that introduced me to Paige Toon and I’m not disappointed. I can’t wait to read this book again…

Some of the writing drove me nuts, but good read overall. Similar in plot to “7 Summers,” which was a better book overall.
