Another odd PKD book with a weird take on religion and Christianity. This one was very simple and straightforward, one of his most understandable works, probably thanks to the secondary author.

Man, PKD and Roger Zelazny, I recognize you guys had a lot of thoughts about religion and God, but, like, would it have killed you to come up with an actual Plot to convey those thoughts instead of just making each chapter a meandering mess?

One of the few PKD novels I haven't read. Very much a precursor to the "Gnostic" trilogy, but sketchier. Full of tropes that appear regularly in post-apocalyptic science fiction (insane supercomputer, new religions, mutants, etc.).
