It's easy to read and it's not very deep. It presents a Christian dream world with very patriarchal structures. It shines a very positive light on the settlers, without (for the most part) acknowledging the genocide and torment of the Native population. (I'm not saying that every individual settler is a horrible person, but one must not forget what their "discovery" of the land caused).
