We actually had the narrated eBook and the print edition. My students absolutely loved it! We read it in preparation to vote for the Children's Choice Awards.
While it seemed somewhat similar to The Day the Crayons Quit, it was my students' reaction that made it so worthwhile. While I don't think they understood all of the nuances, the adults certainly did.

Great interactions between reader and book. Sneaky examples of alliteration and suspense!

I am a sucker for imaginative, out-of-the-box picture books like this one.

I thought this book was cute but I think it might be harder for a child to understand. This book had to live up to Red and I don't think it did but it was still a very cute read.

I love Michael Hall’s book and this one is as hilarious and the rest of his books. The book was cancelled because of a scribble. When the crayons try to help, things spiral out of control.
