Another great book in the Gansett Island series, however for me it wasn’t the main couple in the book that made the story, it was everyone else - Mac & Maddie, Linda & Big Mac, Tiffany & Blaine and Owen and Laura, I absolutely loved all these couples cropping up, but with so much going on I felt the author didn’t put enough time into the main couple, I liked them but I felt their story could have gone deeper, like she’s done in previous books. Owen & Laura have cropped up in the last 3 or 4 books now and boy am I ready for their story, I cannot wait. Loving life on Gansett, what an amazing place to escape too.

Really good story. I just wish the sex content wasn't increasing in each book.

Hoping for Love pulls you in from the very first page. I enjoyed the camaraderie between Grace, Laura, and Stephanie.
After you are pulled into the story, it feels like the relationship between Grace and Evan was rushed. It was great revisiting familiar characters, but, it felt like I was trying to keep up with the beginning of too many new relationships.
Overall, I still enjoyed the book, but would have liked to see more about Grace's life, her family, etc.

Grace is a woman we should all want to take after, one who is unafraid to do what is best for HER. Once heavily obese, she decides (against her parents wishes) to have lap band surgery to help in her fight to get healthy. She also decides that staying in her parents home, where she is not supported, is not a good environment to be in. After a weekend on Gansett Island, she decides that it has everything she needs to help her begin a new life with her new body and new mindset.
Along comes Evan, and with him Grace begins to feel sexy and attractive. Even when things look like they won't work out for the two of them, she thanks him for the confidence he's given her and moves on with what will be best for her. Evan realizes how amazing of a woman she is and what he's stupidly throwing away. When he tries to convince her of his change in feelings, she doesn't just say yes right away. She doesn't trust that he's the best thing for her and makes him work for her attention.
I love to keep up with this series because Force makes sure you get updates on your favorite characters from all of the previous books. I honestly can't get enough of Mac and Maddie (the couple that started it all in book one, Maid For Love), and I love the little scenes we get with them in each book. Each book sees the addition of new characters as well, with each one interesting and intriguing in their own right. Force has a wealth of characters at her disposal for future books. I can't wait to see where they go!

Probably my least favourite of the five. Force is trying too hard to keep all of her old characters connected that the main story gets shorter and shorter, leaving readers wondering just how the relationship got to the point of having an actual relationship. This book seemed a little forced and didnt really show much actual chemistry for me.

The best part was seeing all the other couples that I have grown to love. The book was very lackluster, on to the next book.

Another fabulous story in this series. Which I've now read multiple times and honestly each time I enjoy it more. As the characters are great, the story fun, entertaining and sweet. Yet there is still plenty of heat and its always extremely hard to put down and totally worth reading. Whether it be your first visit to Gansett or your twentieth

Another good addition to the series. I really enjoyed seeing more of Big Mac and Linda. We got to see more of them as a "couple" in this book which was nice.
Grace wasn't the most original heroine but sweet and you definitely want to root for her. I AM however, really excited to read Laura's story next. Her scenes with Owen in this book were some of the best!
