Borrowed from library, but didn't vibe currently. Seems like a rich world but so far there's been little for me to care about as MC is rather dreary. Might give it a try again later.

There's a very complex world here and it takes a while to get into it. If you persist through the first 25% the payoff is amazing!

If you like fantasy stories, adventures stories, stories about the sea, you will probably love this book and series. It’s an excellent example of the genre. Great world building, characters, pacing, character development <> plot, very good!
