God, this book is absolutely consuming my life . . . We got a deeper look into characters who have so far hovered on the sidelines, and I'm excited to see how their storylines fit into the larger plot of Moran Ran's rebirth and the fake Gouchen. We also saw Mo Ran and Chu Wanning's relationship develop new layers, and I ate it up. Both of them have such fascinating personalities, and the pining. The missed opportunities. I can only image how their story will continue to play out.

I love how this book started with Mo Ran being all sweet towards Shizun to respect him and cherish him, to LOVE him... And halfway through it they just get horny because of each other unbeknownst to the other. A heartwarming and also fun reading.

Also, Ye Wangxi is in love with Nangong Si! For real!
