I was really excited to get back into Knox and Harper’s story again. But I have to say I felt this one to be just a little bit slower and maybe less action than the first one. But I still really enjoyed it and the fact that you do get to see their everyday life and not just them dealing with issues, which is nice. The comedy in this book was hilarious, I was laughing so much.

my my Harper is the shit, and the way she called out Knox on his hello imma the savior analogy was the highlight. So I like the way their relationship is evolving, and the side characters are just

The story was good but it gets 3 stars because I felt like they spent too much time summarizing events from the previous books and the character/relationship development between Knox and Harper came across as a preachy therapy session that quickly lost my interest. I also didn’t feel like there was any steam to the sex scenes which felt so similar to all the other scenes that I started skipping over them. Not sure if I’m going to read the next book in the series or not.
