A definite page turner! I read this book as part of our book club's theme for Blind Date. The description caught my attention, what if everyone you loved was a lie? I could not put this book down! I stayed up late one night and then quickly finished it before starting work this morning! To find out what in the actual hell was going on! At first I wasn't sure I was liking it, but wanted to continue reading to find out what happened. My opinion changed once the story unfolded. Great read! I'm sometimes sad when my book ends or I read it too fast, not this one! I HAD TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED!

DNF at page 150. Not for me, I'm afraid.

Enough typos to be distracting and choppy sentence structure that is annoyingly noticeable. A decent idea for a book but it fell short in far too many ways — if Bridge is 14, how did no one notice she is actually an adult? Why / how did they share the same dream? Why have two “families” show up? What’s going on in the world outside Belfountain?

I was excited to read this novel by Andrew Pyper because I really enjoyed The Demonologist. This book was FAR from what I expected and there were actually quite a few moments in the book where I had to stop reading, shake my head, and then re-read the passage. There were so many twists and turns from the very beginning of the book which kept me totally invested and wanting to finish asap to find out the ending.

It didn't grab me, so DNF at about 30%.
