Magnifique petit livre pour enfants! Charmant autant par son histoire que ses illustrations, il offre magie et même une petite morale sympathique, sans être moralisatrice, à la fin. J'ai adoré!

"Julia's house came to town and settled by the sea." But it was quiet and Julia was lonely so she opened up her home to those who needed a place to stay. She ends up with an odd assortment of creatures who seem to take her hospitality for granted. She comes up with a great solution, however.
Clever and fun, with delightful illustrations.

There’s not a whole lot to this book as far as deeper messages or teachable moments or anything (well, I guess you could find some about being a good house guest and not hesitating to do what makes you happy as well as what needs to be done, but that’s not the focus of the book), but it is a nice little story about a girl who opens her house up to Lost Creatures, things get a bit crazy, she imposes order, and, we assume, everyone lives happily ever after. I really like the illustrations—the creatures are a lot of fun, and I even learned about a mythical being called a folletti, which I had never heard of before. The author explains them here: http://mrschureads.blogspot.com/2014/09/a-guest-post-by-ben-hatke-folletti.html I would enjoy reading this book aloud with a kid. :)
