Honestly, I didn’t enjoy this book very much. Maybe it was because I had never read any of the previous books in the series, but I just found it incredibly dull, so much so that I almost gave up half way through. I’m glad I carried on and finished it, because there were a few slightly entertaining parts in the second half, but still, it just wasn’t enough for me. It’s a shame because the plot had really good potential.

I wish i'd DNF'd this but I thought I really need to find out who the killer is and how they're brought to justice at the end - spoiler alert, they're not.

I don't understand how this series is still going and from reading reviews on book #11 the ending was still not resolved. How many serial killers could Southampton really have? Also, Hudson is one of the worst characters i've ever read.

the main plot line is a fantastic idea, however it was shockingly written.

The plot twists were largely predictable, with no real shocks occurring during the book.

The book had great potential which was wasted for the focus on the relationship

Favorite Character: Belinda Raeburn
Least Favorite Character: DC Hudson
