Another great book in the Gansett Island series. Another great couple David and Daisy. The ending was a shocker, didn’t expect that to happen to Janey, but all was well in the end.

3.5 stars.
This was the redemption of David book. David did a number of hurtful and selfish things when he was with Janey, but in this book, he acknowledged them and seemed to understand why he did them. I think it all comes down to the fact that sometimes a relationship is not the "right" relationship. The fact that he came clean with Daisy gave him points in his favor, but I'm not sure I would have move forward as fast as she did.

David and Daisy didn't have the kind of chemistry like Blaine and Tiffany, or even Mac and Maddie. They were sweet. They seemed to need each other in order to move past their issues.

As usual, there were a number of things going on at the same time with previous characters. Isn't that how it is in life? Friends and family sometimes moving from one crisis to another and trying to support each other through the good and bad. Seems as though that is what Gansett Island is all about.

I was really worried about this book. Mainly because it was about David, and after book two I was disgusted with David. It says a lot about Force's writing that when I finished Time For Love I liked him! And Daisy getting her happy ending? Fabulous.

I also loved all the extra bits we got with Blaine and Tiffany (my favorite couple behind Mac and Maddie)and Seamus and Carolina!

I always enjoy these stories and it's nice catching up with characters in past stories. However, we are now at the point where there are 8 primary couples and at least 3 or 4 secondary couples that we've met, in addition to the main characters of this book. It's a lot to focus on, and I feel it detracts from the main story. I believe Force recognizes this, as she mentions in the forward that she will need to stop "catching up" with so many characters in future books. I just wish she'd come to that conclusion prior to this book, because I think there was so much more potential for Daisy and David's story.

This is only the second time I've read this story. As David isn't one of my favourite characters. Although he certainly has redeemed himself and I do love him with Daisy.

And Time for Love is a very sweet, engaging, and at times emotional and fun read. That I enjoyed a lot, and it's always great to catch up with this group of characters. And so I would happily recommend this story to others.

This is my least favorite book of the series but only because I really had no interest in reading about David at all. I didn't really feel a huge connection between Daisy and him, maybe an attraction but that was it. I could keep complaining about what I did or didn't like but it really just comes down to the fact that I just don't like David, so I'm going to stop.

What I really loved though were the side stories. I was so happy to read about everyone else and that totally made this worth reading. Can't wait for the next one :)

Honestly, I think this book was dragged down with all the other characters from the previous books that came back and *had* to have their story lines continued in this book. The story itself would have flowed much more naturally and better if we didn't have to stop by all the rest all the time.

Some of the story lines were valid and added to the book, Janey and Joe's for example, but Maddie & Mac's storyline could just as easily have been a standalone novella for all the value it added.

I like the prospective of future pairings, but once a couple has found each other in these type of books, I sort of wish that they would go back to just being supportive players and not have as huge a role.

Another great Gansett romance! This is one of those book series that's so good because it's about characters that could be your friends and family. It's definitely not a standalone though because the previous characters all have updates to their stories woven throughout.
