Kalecinin Penaltı Anındaki Endişesi by Peter Handke

Eh. Didn't really understand / was bored while reading. Is he going for the Hamsun Hunger business and failing? Not sure. Eh.

It's interesting how the main character's twisted vision of life is somewhat explained by his profession and the skills it demands. The book doesn't have many dialogues, it focuses on describing Bloch's understanding of life. I liked that because it allows you to really dive into his way of thinking and his internal voice becomes yours. But in the other hand, this storytelling style may irritate you if you're longing for clear and fast paced character or plot developement.
